FundedNext Review: A Complete Guide

Prop Firm Trading

FundedNext is a leading name in the prop trading space, offering structured access to simulated capital for skilled traders worldwide. FundedNext operates on a performance-based structure, providing traders with demo accounts to prove consistency before qualifying for a simulated funded account.

From beginners looking to test strategies to professionals seeking advanced models, FundedNext offers structured evaluation packages across both CFDs and Futures. Whether the goal is flexibility, speed, or a gradual path to consistency, there’s a challenge model built to match every trading style.

FundedNext’s CFD Challenge Models

FundedNext offers Stellar Challenge packages for CFDs, four distinct options designed to suit a wide range of experience levels and trading styles. Each model serves as an evaluation phase using a demo account, except for the Stellar Instant, where traders can prove consistency before unlocking a simulated funded account. Here's a breakdown of each:

1. Stellar 1-Step Challenge

The Stellar 1-Step is a faster, leaner version of the evaluation process, perfect for confident traders who want to skip the traditional two-step structure. It has a single evaluation phase with a 10% profit target, and allows for the No Minimum Trading Days add-on.

The maximum overall loss limit is 6% by default. Once the challenge is passed, traders become eligible for up to 95% of the rewards they generate, with rewards processed every five days. This model is designed for agile decision-makers who want to move quickly and capitalize on momentum without unnecessary delays.

2. Stellar 2-Step Challenge

FundedNext’s most comprehensive CFD model, the Stellar 2-Step Challenge, is built for traders who want a gradual, structured path to long-term growth. It includes two evaluation phases: 8% profit target in Phase 1 and 5% in Phase 2, designed to test both skill and consistency.

Traders must trade for at least five separate days in each phase unless they opt for the No Minimum Trading Days add-on. The maximum overall loss limit is set at 10%, and the daily loss limit is 5%. Once funded, traders can receive up to 95% of their performance rewards, and rewards are processed every five days, offering fast yet sustainable scaling. This model is ideal for traders who want structure, risk discipline, and a clear roadmap.

3. Stellar Lite Challenge

For beginners or those operating with a smaller budget, the Stellar Lite Challenge provides a low-barrier entry into the FundedNext ecosystem. It follows a 2-step evaluation model with an 8% profit target in the first phase and 4% in the second phase. It also has a daily loss limit of 4%.

The profit split is also quite good, up to 95%. Besides, the affordable one-time fee and scaled-down targets make it a smart choice for testing strategies under realistic challenge conditions. It’s the go-to option for traders looking to ease into prop firm evaluations without a big financial commitment upfront.

4. Stellar Instant Challenge

Stellar Instant is for traders who are ready to start without any Challenge phase. After paying a flat fee, traders get immediate access to a simulated funded account with no testing period. The daily loss limit is 6%, and the reward split can go up to 80%, with performance rewards eligible every five days.

It’s best suited for experienced traders who already have a track record and want to skip straight to the funded stage without proving themselves in a demo environment. This model saves time and allows serious traders to focus directly on execution and reward collection.

FundedNext’s Futures Challenge Models

FundedNext has now stepped into Futures trading with two challenge options designed for different types of traders. You can access them on Tradovate, NinjaTrader, or TradingView, and trade using mini or micro contracts, giving you more flexibility to choose what works best for you.

Legacy Challenge (Futures)

FundedNext’s Legacy Challenge is designed for Futures traders who prefer a structured evaluation. It requires meeting a fixed profit target that varies by account size — for starters, $1,250 for a $25K account, $2,500 for $50K, or $6,000 for $100K — while observing both a daily loss limit and a maximum loss cap based on your highest end‐of‐day balance, which trails upward as your account grows.

FundedNext has a 40% Consistency Rule during the Challenge phase. This means no single day’s profit can exceed 40% of your total profit target; if this threshold is breached, your profit target automatically increases.

You must also be in profit for at least five days, even if the profit target is reached early. Once the challenge phase is completed and rules adhered to, you move into a FundedNext account where performance rewards can be claimed every five winning days. Importantly, there’s no time limit to pass the challenge, giving traders the space to prove consistency at their own pace.

Rapid Challenge (Futures)

FundedNext’s Rapid Challenge is their quickest Futures evaluation designed for traders who want to move fast with minimal restrictions. It operates as a single-phase challenge with fixed profit targets depending on account size — for example, $1,500 for a $25K account, $3,000 for $50K, or $5,000 for $100K.

Unlike the Legacy Challenge, there’s no daily loss limit, so you’re free to trade throughout the day without hitting soft-break thresholds. However, it still includes a maximum loss limit, which trails your highest end-of-day balance (e.g., $2,000 on a $50K account).

Qualifying for this challenge can happen in as little as a single trading day, and once you've hit your target, you're eligible for a FundedNext account and up to 90% of performance rewards, paid every five days. You’ll trade on platforms like Tradovate, NinjaTrader, or TradingView using mini or micro contracts, and there is no time limit to complete the challenge.
