DRAWDOWN & RULES
- Drawdown Type
- EOD Dynamic (trailing) Drawdown: 25K $1,000, 50K $2,000, 100K $3,000, 150K $4,500.
- Daily Loss Limit
Daily Pause (funded; loss from the day's starting balance) — trading stops for the day if hit, does not fail the account: 25K $500, 50K $1,000, 100K $2,000, 150K $3,000.
- Consistency Rule
35% best-day rule on Sim Funded (Performance) accounts only — no single day may exceed 35% of total profits.
- Contract / Scaling Limits
25K: 2 contracts ($20,000 margin), 50K: 4 ($40,000), 100K: 8 ($80,000), 150K: 12 ($120,000).
- News Trading
Allowed without restrictions on all E8 Signature Futures accounts (SimFi Challenge and Performance).
- Overnight / Weekend Holding
Trading permitted 17:00-15:10 CT; all open positions are force-closed daily at 15:10 CT.
- Other Key Rules
Min trading days — Evaluation: none; Sim Funded: 5 winning days of 0.3%+ profit (not required for the first payout). All automated trading prohibited (EAs, bots, AI tools, HFT 300+ trades/day); semi-automated also not permitted. Copy trading allowed across your own accounts (SimFi Challenge + Performance + personal). Inactivity: account closed after 7 days inactive (any micro-trade of 0.1 lots qualifies). Prohibited: tick scalping (50%+ of profits must come from trades held 10+ seconds), holding within 2% of a product's lock limit, gapped/illiquid trading, exploiting slow data feeds / price-display errors, hedging across users/accounts, account rolling, micro-scalping during illiquid hours, trading incorrect-month contracts, cooperation with other traders, non-compliance with CME Group rules. Violations: account termination (with fee refund), loss of accrued profits, possible payout withholding.
