Best Crypto Prop Firms in 2026, Compared by Data
How large is the crypto prop market?
The crypto prop market is small. PropFirmTrading tracks four dedicated firms: Breakout (★4.7, Kraken-backed), Crypto Fund Trader, BrightFunded and For Traders Crypto. Several CFD firms also offer crypto pairs at 1:2-1:5 leverage, which is a different product.
How the four firms compare
- ›Breakout is the reference firm. Three 1-step tiers are verified at its checkout: Turbo (9% target / 3% daily / 3% static max), Pro (12% / 3% / 5%), Classic (10% / 3% / 6%). Daily payouts apply from day one, with a $50 minimum and an 80% split (90% add-on). From $19.60 at 5K; 100K Turbo $323.40.
- ›Crypto Fund Trader has the widest lineup (Break, Accelerated, Ascend, Standard 2-phase, Instant; 500+ instruments including meme and DeFi pairs). Break 1-Step 100K costs $179.10, the second-cheapest crypto 100K. The caveat is that max drawdown is tick-by-tick trailing, the strictest type.
- ›For Traders Crypto has the cheapest 100K in crypto (Fast Pro $144.50, 90% split with 35% consistency). The trailing drawdown locks after payouts.
- ›BrightFunded offers 2-Step Bright (10/5 targets, 4%/8% static) plus a free $1K challenge for new users (news).
Crypto-specific rules that surprise traders
Weekend trading is allowed nearly everywhere, because the markets are open, but leverage is low (1:2-1:5). USDC/USDT-pair restrictions exist (CFT counts only USDT pairs), and payout rails are crypto-native. Static-drawdown programs (Breakout, BrightFunded) are usually friendlier for volatile pairs than trailing ones, and the PT:DD column makes this visible per program.
