Best Funded Trading Firms in the USA vs the Rest of the World
Two different industries wearing one name
The funded-account industry is really two markets. The US-native futures market — CME instruments, US platforms, US customer bases — and the offshore CFD market serving the rest of the world. Most 'best prop firm' lists are written for the second and quietly useless for Americans; most US-focused lists ignore that non-US traders get better prices in CFDs. We track both: 12 futures firms, 15 CFD firms, 4 crypto firms.
If you're in the US
The futures market is your home turf: evaluations from $19.90 (Apex), transparent CME pricing, platforms you can verify. The specific picks and their drawdown mechanics are in the US traders guide and futures guide. Among CFD firms, availability varies and two of ours (Blueberry, Fintokei) explicitly exclude the US — always verify at checkout.
If you're anywhere else
The CFD market gives you more structure choice (1/2/3-step, instant, zero-style), bigger static drawdowns and aggressive discounting — top-rated options led by FTMO (★4.8), The5ers and Alpha Capital (★4.7), with $100K challenges from $95. Futures firms serve you too; nothing blocks the reverse direction.
The crossover picks
Firms strong on both sides of the line: Goat Funded Trader (CFD + a futures brand, one loyalty ecosystem), Blue Guardian (same), E8 (CFD + futures under one login), and FundedNext (CFD + futures with shared branding). If you want one relationship that follows you across markets, start there — and compare any pairing on the programs page with the market switch.
