Blue Guardian Futures drawdown now trails for the whole evaluation

Blue Guardian Futures changed the drawdown rule on its Standard and Express evaluations. PropFirmTrading first saw the updated rule pages on 2 November.

The firm uses a trailing maximum loss limit, which moves up when the account closes a day at a new high. Before the change, the limit stopped trailing once it reached the starting balance plus $100.

The new rule works as follows. - During the evaluation, the limit never stops trailing on Standard and Express accounts. - The Reserve evaluation has worked this way since 23 October. - On funded accounts, the limit still stops trailing at the starting balance plus $100.

The floor on an evaluation therefore keeps rising with each new end-of-day high until the trader passes. The full rules are on the Blue Guardian Futures firm page.
