Ratings aggregated from publicly posted trader reviews on independent review platforms, captured 28 Jul 2026. We analyse them — we don't collect them.

Two truths about CFT

Truth one: for actually *trading* crypto, reviewers rate Crypto Fund Trader's conditions the best in the funded space — its Bybit integration delivers exchange-level spreads across 125+ pairs, execution is fast with near-zero slippage (a critical three-star reviewer opens by conceding exactly this), news trading is unrestricted, and payouts on smaller accounts flow in 24–48 hours, often via direct bank transfer. The scholarship program and responsive front-line support earn extra credit. That's the substance behind the 60 five-star reviews in its 4.1 average across 106 reviews.

Truth two: CFT owns the most consistent IP-match denial pattern in our crypto coverage, and it's the spine of the 12 one-star reports.

The IP-match file

Four independent, detailed reports describe the same sequence — trade cleanly, become profitable, request a payout, receive an "IP match / multiple users detected" allegation:

  • A $7,400 first payout denied for an IP match — from a long-standing customer who says CFT itself acknowledged that mobile networks share IP addresses among users (which is exactly how carrier-grade NAT works: thousands of unrelated people exit through the same IP).
  • A $4,920 denial from a scholarship trader whose early small payouts processed fine — the flag arrived "once I became consistently profitable", his earlier positive review still on record.
  • A $200K account hit with "multiple users detected on my IP" at payout time; a $25K trader denied and blocked on a shared-IP claim.

The mobile-network detail is what makes this pattern damning rather than defensible: IP overlap on cellular and even residential networks is a statistical certainty, not evidence of account sharing. A firm choosing it as a payout-time tripwire has chosen a net that catches innocent traders by design.

Beyond IP: a trader who passed three $100K challenges had all three terminated immediately after completion; two $100K accounts taken to live were closed with, per the reviewer, no rule violation named; a funded trader was breached for "reverse trading" after a 0.01-lot connectivity test preceded a real 10-lot short; a $200K funded account died two days after purchase; and an instant-account customer with $250 owed says support went silent for good. Softer issues: the dashboard lags (one breach dispute turned on it), XAU/USD absent from one-step accounts without clear disclosure, and payout-timing add-ons that gate faster withdrawals behind extra fees.

The calculus

CFT presents the sharpest risk-reward split in crypto funding. If execution quality is your edge — you scalp thin crypto spreads where Breakout's commissions or BrightFunded's slippage would eat you — CFT's Bybit rails are the best tool available, and most reviewers, including many paid ones, never hit trouble. But the enforcement pattern means your payout survives only if your network profile is unimpeachable:

  • Trade from one fixed, residential connection only. Never mobile data, never public Wi-Fi, never a VPN — the CGNAT cases show mobile IPs are the trap.
  • Keep small payouts flowing from day one; every big denial in the file followed accumulation.
  • Screenshot your dashboard daily; the lag-related breach dispute shows whose numbers win by default.
  • If a five-figure balance is building, recognise that you're carrying unhedgeable counterparty risk and size your attachment accordingly.

Prices and the current code are on the CFT firm profile and promo page; our crypto prop firm ranking puts this trade-off in context against Breakout and BrightFunded.
