This Propr review looks at a crypto prop firm that sells evaluations for simulated perps accounts and pays profit shares in USDC. Perps, short for perpetual futures, follow the price of an asset such as bitcoin or gold and have no expiry date. USDC is a stablecoin built to hold a value of one US dollar.
Propr publishes its payout record on a public dashboard and states that every account is simulated. Its own documents still disagree on several rules.
Propr in six points
- Evaluations cost $25 to $1,998 at list price.
- Every account is simulated, funded ones included.
- Propr's dashboard reports about $3.1M paid to traders in 6,013 payouts.
- Trustpilot shows 4.2 from 69 reviews, with 8 one-star ratings.
- Propr's own pages disagree on at least 7 topics, including copy trading.
- PropFirmTrading has no Propr code, so prices here are list prices.

A consistency rule caps the share of total profit that may come from one trading day. Propr's rulebook has neither that rule nor a minimum number of trading days. The Terms only keep the right to add consistency measures after prohibited conduct.

PropFirmTrading read all 55 English reviews and paraphrases them below. The other 14, all five-star, are in other languages.
Praise in the five-star reviews
- ›Payout speed. Reported waits run from minutes to under 12 hours, and John (September 2026) was paid within the hour.
- ›Proof on chain. Vile (August 2026) says no payout had been denied and each can be checked on chain.
- ›Team and support. Alex (October 2026) credits steady monthly improvements, and Jack (August 2026) names two support staff.
- ›Simple rules. Nick (August 2026) praises the simple rules, including a daily limit based on the balance.
Where the one- and two-star reviews point
The counts cover the 10 reviews rated one or two stars, and one review can raise several themes.
- ›Bugs, lag and downtime (6 of 10). Ray (August 2026) describes a stop-loss that moved and closed a trade at an unexpected level. Late-June reviews describe a frozen platform, false breaches and downtime.
- ›Slow support (5 of 10). Reviews from September and October report a payment error, 24-hour replies and unanswered emails.
- ›Disputed breaches (3 of 10). Timo (October 2026) says his funded account closed while the daily limit was not near. Spencer (September 2026) believes his evaluation result was calculated wrongly.
- ›Marketing and regulation (3 of 10). Pamella (July 2026) calls the on-chain claim misleading. Catherine (September 2026) warns about an unregulated firm with simulated accounts, while noting real USDC payouts.
Propr replied to 9 of these 10 reviews, all except Timo's. The replies admit three to four days of latency in late June and a payment-provider problem in early September. The reply to Ray says accounts hit by bugs are refunded or reset.
Limits of the Propr review sample
- Five-star reviews bunch on a few dates, with several on 23 and 24 June 2026 and four on 6 August 2026.
- A five-star review from April 2026 is signed Oz, the first name reviewers give a Propr support person, so it may come from staff.
- None of the 55 English reviews carries a verified-purchase label.
- 69 reviews are few next to the 6,013 payouts on Propr's dashboard.
How the Propr challenges work
Propr sells three 1-Step evaluations and one 2-Step, and each one is a simulated account priced from Hyperliquid.
On a simulated account, the balance and trades exist only in Propr's records, and none of that money belongs to the trader. Hyperliquid is an on-chain perps exchange, and Propr fills each simulated order against the bids and offers in its live order book.
| Program | Profit target | Daily loss | Maximum loss | 5K price |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1-Step Turbo | 9% | 3% | 3% static | $25 |
| 1-Step Pro | 12% | 3% | 5% static | $45 |
| 1-Step Classic | 10% | 3% | 6% static | $60 |
| 2-Step | 5%, then 10% | 5% | 8% trailing | $50 |
All four programs pay 80% and come in six sizes. The funded stage keeps the same loss limits as the evaluation.
On the 2-Step, the rulebook carries the balance from Step 1 into Step 2 and lists a Step 2 end balance of $5,500 on 5K. Propr's public pages do not show whether Step 2 counts from that original balance or starts afresh.
- ›Free trial. A $5,000 demo account with the same rules and no time limit, which never leads to funding.
- ›Predictions. Accounts for Polymarket, a prediction market, are marked as coming soon.
Across all paid challenges, 5,014 of 36,564 attempts had passed by 21 October 2026, or 13.7%.

Trading fees are Hyperliquid's own, passed on without a markup. A crypto order pays 0.015% when it rests on the book and 0.045% when it fills at once.
Hyperliquid funding rates, the regular payments between long and short positions, also apply.
What a Propr challenge costs
The 5K 1-Step Turbo at $25 is the cheapest Propr account, and the 200K 1-Step Classic at $1,998 is the most expensive.
All 24 prices are one-time fees, matched against Propr's rulebook and homepage on 21 October 2026.
| 5K | 10K | 25K | 50K | 100K | 200K | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1-Step Turbo | $25 | $50 | $125 | $245 | $450 | $899 |
| 1-Step Pro | $45 | $85 | $185 | $355 | $699 | $1,399 |
| 2-Step | $50 | $100 | $250 | $450 | $749 | $1,499 |
| 1-Step Classic | $60 | $110 | $275 | $495 | $999 | $1,998 |
One-time fees in US dollars, no code applied. A deeper tint marks a higher fee.
- ›Turbo costs less than half of Classic at every size, with a 3% maximum loss instead of 6%.
- ›Loss room on a 5K account is $150 on Turbo, $250 on Pro, $300 on Classic and $400 at the start of the 2-Step. It is the amount that can be lost before the maximum loss is hit.
- ›No resets or refunds. A breached account cannot be reset and its fee is not refunded, so a new evaluation has to be bought.
PropFirmTrading has no code for Propr yet, so all prices here are list prices. The Propr discount code page tracks Propr prices and offers.
Separately, Propr promotes a switcher offer of 30% off a first challenge for traders arriving from another prop firm. The offer is run by Propr and has not been tested by PropFirmTrading.
How a Propr account gets closed
A Propr account closes at once when equity breaks the daily limit or the maximum loss floor, and there is no way to restore it.
Three ways a Propr account closes
- Daily loss. Equity falls 3% below the 00:00 UTC balance on a 1-Step, or 5% on the 2-Step.
- Maximum loss. Equity touches the program's floor, fixed on the 1-Step and trailing on the 2-Step.
- Restricted country. A trader who reaches Propr through a VPN from a restricted country loses the account, with no refund and no payout.
A loss-limit breach closes every position and disables the account for good, with no reset, no appeal and no soft breach that would close only the open trades.
Equity is the balance plus the profit or loss on open trades. A static maximum loss is a floor fixed from the starting balance that never moves.
A trailing maximum loss rises with the high-water mark, the highest equity the account has reached. On the 2-Step it stops rising at the starting balance.
Maximum loss floors on Propr accounts
- 1-Step Classic
- 6% static
- $4,700 on 5K, $94,000 on 100K
- 1-Step Pro
- 5% static
- $4,750 on 5K, $95,000 on 100K
- 1-Step Turbo
- 3% static
- $4,850 on 5K, $97,000 on 100K
- 2-Step
- 8% trailing
- starts at $4,600 on 5K, stops at $5,000
News trading, weekend holding, hedging inside one account and bots are all allowed. The rulebook and Terms ban hedging across Propr accounts, account cycling (buying many evaluations as lottery tickets), wash trading and latency arbitrage, which exploits delayed prices.
The full list, with position limits, is on the Propr rules page.
Propr payouts and the public payout record
Funded traders can ask for a payout at any time once profit reaches $20, and Propr pays their 80% share in USDC on Ethereum.
- ›Eligibility. The funded account must be active, and the trader must pass KYC, an identity check with a government ID and a live selfie.
- ›Mechanics. All positions must be closed, each payout takes the whole profit, and the balance returns to its start.
- ›Frequency. There is no limit on the number of requests and no maximum payout.

The rulebook promises processing within 24 hours. In the week to 21 October, the dashboard showed an average of about 53 minutes and a median of 1.1 hours on its slowest day.
What the payout record shows and leaves out
- ›Net figure. The $3.1M is the traders' 80% share, and $411,813 in affiliate commissions is reported apart from it.
- ›Reserve. The dashboard showed $1,110,969 at 10:00 UTC on 21 October, held as Hyperliquid margin, in an Ethereum wallet and as pending payouts. That is close to the $1.2M paid in the last 30 days.
- ›Book split. Propr copies A-book trades to Hyperliquid and keeps B-book trades inside its own records. The dashboard put 97.7% of volume in the B-book, a figure its data feed flagged as a fallback value.
- ›Source. Every figure is Propr's own, and this review did not trace the transfers one by one on Ethereum.
The Funded Account Terms call payouts discretionary rewards. The record shows what Propr has paid, not what it is bound to pay.
Is Propr a legitimate prop firm?
Propr is a registered BVI company with a public rulebook and payout dashboard, and it states that it is unregulated and that every account is simulated.
- ›Company. Propr Limited, in Road Town, Tortola, with disputes under BVI law and courts.
- ›Regulation. Propr says it is not authorised by the BVI Financial Services Commission or any other authority.
- ›Backing. Built by XBorg, a startup studio, with SwissBorg named as a backer on the homepage.
- ›People. Louis Regis is named as founder and CEO.
The rulebook changelog says it logs every change. Yet the Pro 1-Step, the 5K and 200K sizes and the cut of the payout minimum to $20 have no entry in it.

Strengths
- Entry from $25, with no time limit, minimum days or consistency rule.
- A static maximum loss on all three 1-Step programs.
- Payouts on request from $20, with a median of about 8 minutes on Propr's dashboard.
- API access for bots and AI agents, with Python and JavaScript SDKs.
Drawbacks
- Every account is simulated, and the firm is not regulated.
- A breach ends the account, with no reset and no refund.
- A flat 80% split with no upgrade and no scaling plan.
- Reviews describe bugs, lag and slow support in busy weeks.
Open questions

Propr FAQ
Is Propr legit?
Propr is a registered company, Propr Limited in the British Virgin Islands, with a public rulebook, published Terms and a payout dashboard. That dashboard reported about $3.1M paid to traders in 6,013 USDC payouts between 23 April and 21 October 2026.
Propr also states that it is not regulated and that every account, funded ones included, is simulated. Several of its own pages disagree on rules such as copy trading and leverage. The current rules are summarised on the Propr rules page.
How do Propr payouts work?
A funded trader can request a payout at any time once the account is active, the identity check is done and profit reaches $20. All positions must be closed first, and each payout takes the whole profit before the balance returns to its starting level.
The trader keeps 80% on every account, paid in USDC on Ethereum with no bank option. The rulebook promises processing within 24 hours, and the median wait on Propr's dashboard was about 8 minutes in the week to 21 October 2026.
Is Propr regulated?
No. Propr Limited is registered in the British Virgin Islands under number 2211330. It states that it is not authorised by the BVI Financial Services Commission or by any other authority. Disputes fall under BVI law and BVI courts, and the Terms waive class actions.
The fee buys an evaluation on a simulated account, and the Funded Account Terms describe payouts as discretionary rewards. Traders can read the Evaluation Terms and the Funded Account Terms on propr.xyz before buying.
Are Propr accounts real or simulated?
Simulated. Propr's footer, Terms and risk disclaimer all say that every account, evaluation and funded, is a paper trading account. Prices and fills come from live Hyperliquid order books, but the balance is a paper figure rather than money held for the trader.
Propr marks every trade as A-book, copied to Hyperliquid, or B-book, kept in its own records. Its dashboard put 2.3% of volume in the A-book on 21 October 2026, a figure flagged as a fallback value. One developer page describes production trades with real funds, which conflicts with the legal pages.
What are the Propr rules?
Every program has two loss limits. The daily limit is 3% on the 1-Step programs and 5% on the 2-Step, taken from the 00:00 UTC balance and checked against live equity. The maximum loss is 6%, 5% or 3% static on Classic, Pro and Turbo, and 8% trailing on the 2-Step.
Propr's rulebook sets no time limit, no minimum trading days and no consistency rule. News trading, weekend holding and bots are allowed, and a loss-limit breach disables the account permanently. Details are on the Propr rules page.
What are the Propr 2-Step profit targets?
The 2-Step asks for a 5% profit target in Step 1 and a 10% target in Step 2. It has a 5% daily loss limit and an 8% trailing maximum loss, and prices run from $50 for 5K to $1,499 for 200K.
The rulebook carries the balance over between the steps. Its table puts the Step 2 end balance 10% above the original start, at $5,500 on 5K. Propr's public pages do not show whether Step 2 is measured from the original balance or afresh, so traders may want to ask Propr before buying.
Which countries are restricted at Propr?
Propr's rulebook and Terms list Bangladesh, Belarus, Burkina Faso, Central African Republic, Congo, Cuba, Ethiopia, Haiti, Iran, Iraq, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, Libya, Mali, Myanmar, Nigeria, North Korea, Pakistan, Russia, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Syria, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Venezuela, Yemen and Zimbabwe. Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk and places under US Treasury (OFAC) sanctions are excluded too.
Propr's FAQ articles give different, shorter lists, which add Afghanistan and Eritrea. US and UK residents can trade at Propr, but a trader who uses a VPN from a restricted country loses the account and any payout.
How does Propr compare with Breakout?
Breakout's three 1-Step programs use the same targets and loss limits as Propr's Turbo, Pro and Classic, each with a static maximum loss. Breakout's 5K Turbo costs $20 at list price against $25 at Propr, and its minimum payout is $50 against Propr's $20.
Propr also sells a 2-Step and allows several evaluations at once, while Breakout allows one at a time. Breakout sells a 90% split upgrade and lists 95% after three months on Turbo and Pro, while Propr keeps a flat 80%. Both firms are based in the British Virgin Islands.
How does Propr compare with other Hyperliquid-based prop firms?
Propr takes every price and fill from Hyperliquid order books. In the PropFirmTrading database, My Funded Perps and Tradeify 247 also list Hyperliquid, next to other feeds such as Binance and Bybit.
At list price, Propr starts at $25, My Funded Perps at $40 and Tradeify 247 at $100. My Funded Perps uses a static maximum loss on every plan, like Propr's 1-Step programs, while Tradeify 247 applies a 20% consistency rule on Instant accounts. Propr's largest account is $200,000, against $100,000 at both of the others.
Is there a Propr discount code?
There is no PropFirmTrading discount code for Propr yet, and the prices shown across this site are Propr's list prices. The lowest is $25 for the 5K 1-Step Turbo, and PropFirmTrading receives a commission on purchases made through its Propr partner link.
Propr runs a switcher offer of its own, promoted as 30% off a first challenge for traders coming from another prop firm. The offer belongs to Propr and has not been tested by PropFirmTrading. Current Propr prices are listed on the Propr discount code page.
What is Propr's Trustpilot rating?
On 21 October 2026 Propr's Trustpilot profile showed a TrustScore of 4.2 from 69 reviews. Of these, 58 were five-star, 1 four-star, 2 two-star and 8 one-star. Propr had replied publicly to 40 of the 55 English reviews.
Praise centres on payout speed, the platform and the support team. Complaints focus on bugs, lag, slow support in busy weeks and breaches that traders dispute. Some five-star reviews cluster on a few dates, and none of the English reviews carries a verified-purchase label.
Does Propr have an API?
Yes. Propr offers a REST API, a WebSocket feed and Python and JavaScript SDKs, which are ready-made code libraries, with documentation on GitHub and a limit of 1,200 requests per minute. Propr says more than 300 API users and agents trade through it.
Bots and AI agents are allowed under the rulebook. The Terms let Propr restrict bots that harm platform stability, and identical off-the-shelf bots may be treated as coordinated trading. Traders who run one bot on several accounts should read those Terms first.
