Prop Firm Profit Split Compared: Which Firms Pay 100%
The short answer
Most prop firms pay an 80% profit split, many futures firms pay 90%, and a few pay 95% or 100% on specific plans. A profit split is the share of trading profit that the trader keeps after passing an evaluation.
- ›100% splits: Apex Trader Funding on all evaluations, and three futures firms on the first $10,000 or $15,000 of withdrawals.
- ›95% default: FundedNext Futures Flex, from $60.30 at 50K with code PROPFT.
- ›The split is the third question: payout reliability and rule friction decide more of a trader's income than the last 10 points of split.
What changed since August
- ›FundedNext Futures moved its code to 55% on 19 August. The Flex 50K, which carries the 95% default split, now costs $60.30 with code `PROPFT`.
- ›Blue Guardian Futures now lists 100% of the first $15,000, then 90%. The August version of this page listed the firm in the 90/10 group.
- ›My Funded Futures added a 25K Rapid EOD on 2 September. Rapid and Rapid EOD pay 90/10, and Flex, Pro and Builder pay 80/20.
- ›Lucid Trading was checked against its own site on 9 September, and the 90/10 split on all plans was confirmed.
What does a 100% split mean?
Several firms advertise a 100% split, and in most cases it applies at first and then steps down.
- ›Apex Trader Funding pays 100%, paired with a $19.90 cheapest entry after its 90% code. This is a rare combination of top split and low price, and the Apex review explains why the one-star reviews are the third number to check.
- ›Goat Funded Futures pays 100% of the first $10,000, then 90/10, on Instant, Sprint and EOD accounts. From $64.
- ›Blue Guardian Futures pays 100% of the first $15,000, then 90%. From $83.
- ›AquaFutures pays 100% of the first $15,000 of lifetime withdrawals, then 90%, on Beginner and Instant Pro plans. From $50.
None of these are misleading, but the step-down figure governs the tenth payout rather than the first.
The 90% futures standard
Most futures prop firms now cluster at 90/10. Topstep starts from $49 with no discount codes, and Top One Futures starts from $39, the lowest entry price in this group. Tradeify pays 90/10 on all programs from $50, and Lucid Trading pays 90/10 on all plans from $70.
My Funded Futures pays 90/10 on its Rapid and Rapid EOD lines and 80/20 on Flex, Pro and Builder, from $53. FundedNext Futures pays 80% on Legacy, Rapid and Bolt, and 95% by default on Flex.
Firms at 80 percent
An 80% split appears across CFD, crypto and futures firms. Maven pays 80% from a $12 ticket, the cheapest entry in the database. E8 Futures pays 80% from $99, and Traders Launch pays 80% or 55%, depending on the funded account terms, from $49.
BrightFunded starts at 80%, reaches 90% with an add-on and 100% when scaled up, from $34.30. It also pays a 15% profit share from Phase 1 and Phase 2. CFD splits usually run lower on paper, and The5ers and FundingPips reach 95% to 100% only in scaled or premium tiers.
CFD firms compensate with entry prices that futures firms do not match. Maven at 80% from a $12 ticket is a different proposition from 90% from $64.
Why the split is the third question
A split only pays when a payout happens. A workable order of checks has three steps.
1. Can the trader pass the challenge, which the simulator estimates against real rules.
2. Does the firm reliably pay, which the reviews track, one-star reports included.
3. How much the trader keeps, which is the split.
A 95% split at a firm the trader cannot pass, or that makes payouts difficult, has no value. The compare tool lines up split, payout schedule and price side by side. Splits and prices change often, and the tables on PropFirmTrading show the live figures.
