Cheapest Prop Firm Challenges: 10K and 25K From $29

The short answer

The cheapest 10K prop firm challenge costs $29 (Blue Guardian Nano 1-Step) and the cheapest 25K costs $50, with verified codes applied. Cost to funded, not the sticker price, is the number that should decide.

  • 10K: Blue Guardian Nano 1-Step $29, Maven Standard 1-Step $34, Instant Funding One-Phase Micro $35.10, FXIFY Three Phase $35.40.
  • 25K: from $50 with codes applied, the tier where a trader can learn a rulebook at low cost.
  • Cost to funded: a $29 ticket passed one time in four costs $116, and a $50 ticket passed one time in two costs $100.

What changed since August

This page is refreshed from the PropFirmTrading database, and the entries below come from its daily price checks.

  • Blue Guardian launched its Nano challenges on 26 August. The Nano 1-Step 10K at $29 and the Nano 2-Step 25K at $50 are now the cheapest tickets at both sizes.
  • Maven held the lowest 10K price in August at $34. The price is unchanged, and Maven now sits second.
  • Blue Guardian's Pro 2-Step 25K, listed in August at $84.60, left the line-up in the same update.
  • FXIFY replaced code NEW40 with PFT15 on 4 September. The discount stays at 40%, so the Three Phase 10K still costs $35.40.
  • The5ers raised its code from 10% to 15% on 4 September, and High Stakes still starts at $19.

Every price move at every firm is recorded on the change log.

Why a cheap first account is usually a sound plan

Most first challenge attempts fail, and they usually fail on a rule rather than on trading. Common causes are a daily loss counted on floating equity, a consistency clause nobody read, or a news window. A first account's main job is therefore to teach a firm's rulebook at a low price.

A 10K or 25K challenge answers the same questions as a 100K: same rulebook, same enforcement desk, same payout process. It charges a fraction of the price for the lesson. It also reduces the pressure to overtrade, because a small fee is easier to trade calmly than a large one.

The cheapest 10K challenges today

The bottom of the 10K market now has one clear leader and a group in the mid-$30s.

  • Blue Guardian, Nano 1-Step 10K at $29.00 with code PROPFT
  • Maven, Standard 1-Step 10K and Instant 10K, both $34.00, plus a Standard 3-Step at $35.00. No code is needed, because these are Maven's list prices.
  • Instant Funding, One-Phase Micro 10K at $35.10 with code PFT10
  • FXIFY, Three Phase 10K and Lightning 10K, both $35.40 with code PFT15

Six dollars of difference buys little at this level, so the rules should decide. Blue Guardian's code also carries a 200% refund on eligible accounts, so a trader may recover the fee after passing. Traders should read the rules page before choosing on price.

Test tickets under $20

Below the 10K tier sit the smallest accounts, which work as low-cost tests of a firm's platform and rules. FXIFY Instant Lite 2.5K costs $11.40, Maven Standard 3-Step 2K costs $12, and For Traders Strike 6K costs $14.45 with code `PFT`.

Blueberry Funded Prime 2-Step 2.5K costs $18.50 with `PRIME50`, and The5ers High Stakes starts at $19. Blue Guardian Nano 1-Step 5K costs $20 with `PROPFT`. The account size differs at each firm, so a trader should check the balance before buying.

The cheapest 25K challenges today

One size up, the cheapest 25K costs less than some 10K accounts elsewhere.

The $37 gap between the top and bottom of that list has a cause. The pricier entries usually spread the target across more phases or offer looser rules. A cheap ticket with a harsh rule set may cost more than an expensive one the trader can pass.

Futures entry points

Futures challenges usually cost more than CFD ones, but a few 25K evaluations sit low right now. Apex Trader Funding costs $19.90 with its 90% code, Top One Futures costs $39, and AquaFutures costs $50. My Funded Futures Builder 25K costs $53, all with code `PROPFT` applied.

The number that matters: cost to funded

The sticker price assumes a pass on the first attempt. If a challenge suits a trader's style at a 40% pass rate, the real cost is the fee divided by 0.4. The $29 Blue Guardian ticket becomes $72.50 and the $87 Goat Funded Trader ticket becomes $217.50.

This changes the ranking, because a slightly dearer challenge with a static drawdown and no consistency rule often beats the cheapest ticket with a trailing floor. The pass simulator runs this calculation against each firm's real rules.

What a small account teaches

A small account works as a paid test that answers three questions. The first is whether the trader breached a rule that was not expected. The second is how the platform and spreads behaved under pressure. The third, after a pass, is how the payout process behaved.

The last answer is not available from any price table, and it is usually worth more than the fee. A firm that pays a $200 profit on a 10K account promptly gives some evidence of how it handles a 100K. The finder filters every challenge by price, rules and payout terms when a trader is ready to scale.

Summary

Traders can enter at $29 (Blue Guardian 10K) or $50 (Blue Guardian 25K), treat the first account as paid education, and scale only after a payout. The full reasoning is in the funded accounts guide, and the cheapest 100K breakdown covers the next size up. Prices change often, and the pricing table on PropFirmTrading shows the live figures.
